can you tell the difference?

The cover version is a real art isn't it. Either you go off on a tangent and try to make the song your own (risking that you will fall on your face) or stick to the original arrangement and try to just 'do it better'. Well, this week on the CP we have tried to find those elusive gems that managed to be better than the songs that spawned them:

With it being the CP we have tried to avoid the 'given' choices like Jeff Buckley's 'Hallelujah' and The Clash's 'I fought the law' and tread a slightly more obscure route .. but what would you have picked??
