the devil he may take you

I've been meaning to write a post about pulp for a while. My blog seems incomplete without it. I have a lovely memory of standing up the front of a pulp concert in wolverhampton around the time his and herswas released and jarvis accidentally treading on my hand. Such fine memories!

Here's an obscure pulp track for you to sample:

pulp - whiskey in the jar (thin lizzy cover)

This track is from a childline compilation.

You can donate to the childline charity here.

Remember, those flippin' arctic monkeys are directly decended from pulp! If you are reading this and your only experience of them is 'common people' or 'babies' then you'd be well served to go and get a copy of his and hersright now and play 'joy riders' and 'pink glove' until your ears fall off.

Love Pulp.
Ordinarily hate that song.
Jarvis Cocker could cough over a bontempi and it would sound good.
