I'm giving you an extra post today because we had an internet outage here at the university yesterday (hence no post!)

Lush were one of the many excellent bands on the 4ad label back in the 90s, and if I'd been writing this blog back then they would have been all over it. The untrained ear might lump them in with the likes of Echobelly but in reality they are much better with much wittier lyrics and gallons more irony. The track below is another favourite because it features the godfather of the zip up cardigan, Jarvis Cocker. I know you will enjoy it, so ciao for now!
