Tried and tested formula anyone?
I got an email about The Bishops this morning and there is no prize for guessing their influences. The retro boom continues with everyone and their cat making records for their parents to dance to. I'm not necessarily saying that this is a bad thing, but why do it when it's been done so well already? Probably cos people like it?

I read about them today in another blog and finally took a listen. I think they have a really cool thing going on. It's got hooks and some nice harmonising. Definitely Mersey I say.
